After posting a few questions and receiving great info and warm welcome messages, we wanted to post a quick update on our 3 ladies. Everyone is doing great, lots of eating and drinking, new feathers coming in everyday, and only one incident of pasty butt that we cleared up right away. They are starting to think these wings of theirs will be useful, constantly trying to see if they can get off the ground when out of the brooder. Way more curious creatures than i had expected. Its fun to watch them try and figure things out, they are extremely interested in the world outside of the brooder. A couple pictures of them doing what they do best................

Adorable chicks!

Mine are extremely curious, they love playing on the stumps and logs and branches I offer them, trying out bits of dandelion and clover, and perching on my legs when I sit in there with them. They grow so much. Its hard to believe they went from the first picture to the second in just a few weeks.

Best of luck with your babies!
