My original post was just advice to keep an eye on things. I got a cheap file cabinet on CL $15 but they do have cardboard ones.

We have a metal 3-drawer file cabinet that we inherited from FIL. DH has it in the woodshop, so he can file tool manuals, plans, etc. We have a Bankers Box that I got from work, that is full of empty file folders, but they do not stay upright and stuff falls out in that one. I have a small bankers box that is full of sewing patterns.

We now have a dedicated office in this new place, so I will find a way to store these files and keep the information organized.
