Do geese usually molt this time of year? They seem to be doing a sort of soft molt- nobody is bald, just a little ruffled looking and lots of feathers across the grass.

What will you feed them come winter when pasture will be dead?We just lure them in with "the blue bucket" now. The blue bucket, of course, has grain in it. They just get one scoop between the 7 of them each night to get them in their house. Other than that, I'm raising them on pasture only. They seem to be gaining enough weight.
