I have Serama chicks that have been hatching this week. Seramas are the world's smallest chicken and can average just a pound or so each at maturity. My rooster and hens are tiny size A and small Bs. The rooster is a silkied Serama (the feathers feel like fur) and is a multicolored mottled boy. The mom to these chicks is a very pretty straight feathered partridge color. The chicks are starting to show some of their eventual color and will be very colorful. I handle the chicks multiple times a day so they are quite tame and sweet and just fall asleep in my hands. I have my rooster and hens in with my full sized chickens and they get along without a problem.
I have four now and will have another 6 hatching in the next week or so.

Hello!

I am in Kansas and I got some chicks earlier this year and am finding out that a lot of them are NOT pullets as I was expecting! Do you know what sex they are? What's the price?

Thank you,
Danielle

Hi Danielle, the chicks all tend to sell by the time they are 10 days old and that's too early to tell the boys from the girls. The chicks are $10 each.
