This was our first ever chick raised by us.
What a difference we've noticed between buying chicks and our hens having their own.
When I bought our original girls approx a year a go they were featherless,scared,looked lost and skinny.
Our baby chick(now a couple months old) has all it's feathers, isn't scared loves his food, this is it( I say it because we think might be a cockerel but not 100%. We named it blue) at just a few hours old
Second pic maybe a few days old

Here is my first one to hatch, straight out of the shell. They actually hatched last fall, so you can see them growing up. Four were Production Red X Buff Orpington, and one was a Production Red.
Three turned out to be males, can you tell which ones?
