Are these two separate peachicks? The last one is definitely a Spalding peahen. There's color going completely down the breast and there's green on top of the head.
Chances are then that you have two Spalding hens. Barring in the middle of the wing I believe is a Spalding hen thing. Those look more like Spaldings. Minxfox, q8pfowl, and Zaz, have pictures of Green peachicks. I believe they are Java but I'm not sure what kind of Greens they have in their photos.
My Spalding peahen Thora. Spalding hens tend to have barring.
Java Green hen
Java Green cock
Java Green pair.
I have a 5 month old white and a IB. When I was walking past the pen they were making some different sounds and then the white got on top of the IB as if they were breeding. Does this mean the white is male? This is my first time raising peafowl. The bigger IB in the middle of the pic is the one it had mounted. I had just figured the white was a fwmale because it has always been a little smaller than the other.
They are not fertile. Peafowl tend to reach sexual maturity around 2 years. Looking at this photo the big one in the center is a male. The other three IBs in the top of the photo are also males. The one at the bottom is a hen. The White I can't see enough of the bird and Whites are difficult to sex at a young age. Here's a picture of a yearling almost two year old White male and female. If you can post a picture showing the entire body (especially a side profile) of the White one we can maybe give you an idea but chance are will not be 100% accurate just an idea.
