Hi everyone! We've seen a huge influx of spam on BYC over the last few weeks. We've been working hard behind the scenes to help keep as much of the spam off the community forum as possible and appreciate your patience as we deal with these nasty buggers!
We've been working to implement some technical solutions to keep them from being able to register and post. The problem with spam is that it's always tricky to balance blocking spammers, but also not blocking legitimate members... and it's often hard to tell who is who until they start posting.
Our moderators, especially @TwoCrows , @Judy , and @terrielacy , that have been doing an AMAZING job at cleaning up this junk. Please take a moment to thank them for the hours and hours they spend removing spam and also approving legitimate members!!

- Hopefully it goes without saying: NEVER click on links from spammers or quote their posts.
- Thanks for reporting spammers. You only need to report one post per spammer. We see the spam and then "nuke" the entire spammer account, which will remove all their posts.
