Good Day,

Well as new Guinea parents in NJ, I am just trying to reach out to find people in my area that also love their Guinea Fowl. Just trying to reach out and find other people that have similar flocks and stories to share from our area.

We started out last year with a dozen day old keets we ordered from a reputable company last June and now after many trials and tribulations we have 3 adults left from that brood--Gracie, Kevin and Waluigi. Gracie is the only adult female and Lavender. Kevin is a male and he is pearl grey...Then there is Waluigi, who is Royal Purple and the alpha of all alpha males. Kevin and Gracie have just recently hatched 4 keets on their own in the field next to my house. ( they are about 2 weeks old ) I also have 2 keets of theirs that I incubated and they are 8 weeks old and living in my coop and pen combo with 6 twelve week olds. I wonder about how long before my free range family is to meet up with my penned others? I figure I am going to try to wait until Kevin and Gracie's keets are at 6 weeks or fully feathered because Waluigi and the 6 twelve week olds harass my 8 week olds.
