If she killed her last batch she is likely to do so again. When you say she killed them-How? Sometimes when a hen crushes the eggs or babies due to stress or inexperience owners have a tendency to say the hen killed them. In a situation like this the hen did not intentionally kill her chicks so the next clutch may have a very different outcome. If the hen pecked them to death or threw them out of the nest to die it could happen again so watch carefully.

First of all those chicks are so cute! And she i know she didnt mean to kill the but he had a bit of yolk on him cause she stepped on another egg while he was hatching and she stood up and pulled his stomach appart but this time she pecked almost all of her breast and chest feathers (she did not do that last time) and she talks to the eggs a whole lot and i put a baby bunny under her a and she didnt mind at all and the bunny was under her for almost 4 hours (the rabbits mother died and i knew he would if he didnt stay warm i then later on gave the kits to my rabbit who would nurse hime but he then later died anyways back to the point) im hoping we do have a better hatch rate i had already lost 6 and these 4 are still really strong so i get a 4/4 hatch rate and none of them die this close to hatching that would just be awful
