I had a neighbor give me quite a few hot peppers & besides slicing & freezing I was wanting some other recipes or ways to preserve them. Preferably canning recipes. I'm new to canning this yr...... & learned the HARD way last yr cutting hot peppers to wear gloves.

Make a hot pepper Jelly, its great to give away at the holidays, my sister makes it
and gives it for gifts, people look forward to it every year. It's great to use as a marinade,
or on crackers with some cream cheese. I don't have a recipe but I'm sure there are
plenty out there on the internet, just google pepper jelly.

Hot peppers can be dryad to preserve them. With a needle and strong thread run the peppers on the string and hang them in the sun. {Hang them as if it was a close line} you could try drying them in you oven on low heat. Or dehydrator.
Yea, touching hot peppers and then scratching your nose will be painful. Don’t let the gloves touch any part of your body or you will say ouch.

Taking the seed out of your pepper will make your pepper not as hot; the seeds hold a lot of the heat in the pepper.

I have filled a fancy little bottle with hot peppers then filled it with vinegar and then cork it. This makes a very nice hot pepper sauce. When the vinegar runs low I just add moor vinegar, I have been using this same bottle of peppers for the past 11 years. And it’s still hot.
