lost our flock to a mystery predator

I talked to my neighbor who has done chickens before and he thought raccoon too. Ballsy ********.

I spent a whole day upgrading fortification, I disabled the less secure run I had, skirted the bottom of my coop with 1" chicken wire, did a double covering of the top with a heavy fish net and then 1" chicken wire, put sturdier hinges and double bolt locks on my door, blocked the vents more securely with even more chicken wire, put lights around it, and set my dog's sleeping place up closer to it. I'll be getting an electric fence in the next couple days and I'm going to run a two wire perimeter on top of everything. My coop is going on hardcore lockdown.

I'm still going to do a second adjunct run but it'll be double pallet high walls and a sheltered roof, also skirted with electric fence, and have chicken wire on both inside and outside faces of them (1" inside 2" outside).

Other things I'm thinking of : solar powered motion reactive lights and hunter's stand camera (motion sensor night vision camera). It'd be good to both know if anything tried to get in and failed, what it was, and to up the chances of scaring it away. Has anyone tried those lights and did they help? The hunters camera would really be just for personal knowledge and satisfaction. Any other upgrades to our defenses I am not thinking of?
