Hi all, Let me know your guesses! Thanks for any help!



Chick 1. My guess: hen.





Chick 2: My guess: roo




Chick 3: My guess: hen



Chick 4: My guess: roo



Chick 5: I believe it's a runt. He/she isn't developing like the others.
He/she may or may not catch up over time.

 
do you really think so? The feathers on the saddle are all rounded on the ones I think are hens. Or is that not reliable?

I thought the same you did but now I'm starting to think 5 is just a runt.
 
Saddle and hackle feathers usually come in around 10-12 weeks old, so think it's too early to tell by feathers...
Also, their legss look noticably thicker than 5's... boys tend to have thicker legs than the girls...
 
3 is harder to see than the others, I'll reserve guess on it for now... front and profile pics of them standing would give more clues...
