this is a red hen I purchased 2 months ago. I saw this on her then and also noticed that her back was bare from roosters mounting her. Now she's started growing new feathers on her back and due to low energy and her stayin in the coop during the day I moved her to another coop until she's back in the swing of it all. But I noticed this spot again and I need to know what it is. Do I treat it? Or is it a scab? Is it permanent or what?

Hard to say without a picture, but it does sound like 'rooster damage'. If dried up and scabbed, just keep an eye on it to see that it does not get fly strike. If open and moist it would be a good idea to apply antibiotic ointment (non pain killer).

It appears to be healing quite well. I would keep an eye on it and make sure that flies do not have access to her. I would also not let her near a rooster until it was completely healed.

Such wounds heal 'from the outside inward' and can take a long time to heal completely.

It's under her wing so I think it's okay there. Are you sure it's healing?

Pink shiny tissue around the edges of the wound is granulation tissue - it's healing, but can become contaminated by bacteria or fly eggs.
