Thank you for the reply!! We have nine hens and one big guy and one of our hens went broody on us so we let her sit on eggs and she did a great job and hatched all of the eggs under her.

That's wonderful that your hen was able to hatch these out for you. It is such an amazing thing to witness a hen hatching and raising her own.
I have three hens that are constantly trading the broody idea. I actually ordered chicks from Meyer hatchery (they are the same age as your chicks), but non of the broody girls would accept them. So who ended up raising them? Me! When the going gets tough the tough get going. :lau Silly Broodies! They drive me crazy sometimes. Gotta love 'em!

Yep look like hens to me. My new group of 12; are all pullets. My sex link ALWAYS mature faster than the others. I got eggs at 20 weeks. Then got really big eggs from then on. All the girls have rounded rump feathers, no points. My three roos had nice pointed feathers and saddles early. I got lucky this round. Got 4 roos last time. One dark, one light Brahma, and 2 Bearded Buff Laced Polish. Have a buyer for my last BB

Bearded Buff Laced Polish. A friend has hens and no roo. My Beatoven, is a handsome little guy, but my HUGE Brahmas, are twice his size. He wants breeder anyway.Good home. My co= worker took Spike the other bblp. Her RIR attached her grandson...stewpot he went. I have got to up load pics!
