Do you vaccinate your chicks (not including Marek's)?

I've had my Buckeye pullets from hatch day to now 3-weeks. I've seen tons of articles and forum advice on what vaccines to give and when to give them and why or why not and TONS of 'keep them clean' 'keep them isolated' 'keep them hydrated' type blurbs.

Good advice, yes. Helpful and Appreciated, yes. What I'm looking for, no.

Does anyone know WHERE TO GET THEM? I called my local vet who does poultry and was told that if I have a flock of less than 1000 birds, then they don't vaccinate.

I've been looking for a good resource online, but I can find sources for 1000-5000 which will support my vet's claim that there aren't resources available.

Is this true? Does anyone out there have advice on vaccination sources for the hobby chicks?

Or are there tons of articles and how-to's on this with absolutely no way to follow them?

Partly, it depends on what you want to vaccinate for. There are vaccines for about a dozen diseases. However, it is mostly the commercial industry that uses them. They have to because they have so many birds packed so tightly together.
If for instance you want to vaccinate for Marek's, which is the most common vaccine that backyarders utilize, then it's too late. It should be administered at 1 day of age and its effectiveness diminishes each day after that.
Yes, the vaccines are only available in large quantities. However, Marek's vaccine is inexpensive so even if you're just dosing 10 birds, people just discard the excess.

I've never vaccinated a bird in my life and I've had flocks of up to 100 birds many times. It just hasn't been necessary.

And these numerous vaccines would be found where? Can you link to a source or recommend a company for one?
