So normally my dog and four week old duck are fine with eachother, best of buds but the duck tried to take food off the dog and the dog snapped at the duck. There's a single puncture on the top bill about half way down, it bled but not a lot.
How can I help it heal?

Just as a side note...... Ralph the dog dosent normally get fed when the ducks running around but now and then he'll become strongly attached to a food (normally an apple, potato or even bread rolls) and will obsessively carry it round, sometimes for a good week or so or until it gets so nasty I have to take it away. This time is was a red bell pepper I'd thrown out for the chickens that he nabbed before they could get at. I hadn't seen him with it all day so assumed he'd eaten it or left it outside. Turns out he'd hid it under the sofa in the family room.something he's never done before.
From now on I'll be more careful and check under the sofa.

A pic would be helpful...does the puncture go all the way through and is it eating/drinking still? Here's what I'd do....
Clean with mild saline and no painkiller bacitracin. Apple cider vinegar in the drinking water would be excellent too. There's a spray people here use, but I can't remember the name.....
@WVduckchick what's the name of the first aid spray..... Begins with a V...

It's eating and drinking like a feathery little pig.
It's stopped bleeding and looks shallow and I've looked inside it's mouth and there seems to be nothing on the inside. I can't get a photo without it trying to eat my phone so they're all blurred lol

If this were my baby, and my opinion only...
I'd just keep an eye on it... The ACV is 2tbsp/gallon of water. Everyone in my family gets it for stuff like that. Keeping clean is the big thing! Eating/drinking is a great sign!
As for the bottle, I'm not sure... That's why I tagged people who will know!

I think I know the spray..... The purple/blue stuff?

You might be thinking Blue Kote and please don't use it. My duck had an injury to his bill that bled a little and it healed remarkably fast. Rinse with saline 3-4 times per day. Dab with Neosporin after each rinse. If I remember right, you'll see improvement within 3 or so days and you only need to treat like this for about a week. You'll know when to stop. I cut down to doing this just twice a day after I first noticed the good progress just because I didn't want to stress my drake 4 times a day.

It's not as bad as I Hirst thought, it's had very watery poos since though which I'm guessing is a bit stress related

Aw, yeah, mine did too only for the first day when it happened. This is minor compared to my drake's bill. You can get away with just doing as I mentioned a couple of times a day till you can't see the sore spot any more. Give the baby smoochies for me, please.
