i have a group of six turkey poults that are a week old now. I have had one that passed away on the third day, with no noticeable problems. I believe it may have been stress from the shipping. I had moved them in with my chicks for the first couple of days. I moved them inside and separated them from the chicks. I would keep their water and area clean. I have a heat lamp in their brooder, and they have done better with that. I have one who is gasping for air, his eyes are closed and will only open them if he is jostled, or walks a little bit. He looks sleepy, but I have Quick Chik vitamin and electrolyte supplement and have mouth fed him that with water. He seemed to be doing a little bit better before I left for work. I had my mom give him the water every three hours, and she said he was starting to walk around and eat as well. But when I got home, he is looking down again. I've gone through so many forums, sites, Google, etc. looking for possible solutions. But I don't just wanna wing it, I want to be able to help him in any way I can. I know he may just not be able to fight it and accept that he may end up dying, but I want to at least try everything I can. I can't give up on him yet. i have him right outside the brooder, separated from the others just in case whatever illness he may have, might be passed on to the others. Please help! Any suggestions? I don't want to give him any antibiotics or anything like that, but I'm desperate. If it means he will live, I will do it. Please help me help this little guy. I am sitting up with him now giving him the electrolyte supplement every hour, but is there anything else I can do to see if he may be able to bounce back? I become so attached to all my poultry, and this is my first time raising turkeys. They are definitely my favorite, and will do whatever I can to help him. Please if you have any ideas or suggestions?

Look him over very carefully. Is there any other symptoms like; runny droppings, nasal or eye discharge, lumps or bumps where there shouldn't be any, swellings, etc.?

He passed away very early this morning:( I inspected his body afterwards but didn't find anything concerning? His poop was normal, he didn't have a runny nose, eye discharge or anything. He was thin but I didn't see anything else it could be. I posted in another forum and was told it may have been shopping stress. I'm thinking it may be that because everything else was fine? The other four turkeys are a little bigger and are doing great, i guess this little guy just couldn't keep fighting anymore :(
