I heard my baby cry so I ran outside and there was a possum trying to get at my chicks through the cage. I scared it off and inspected my chicks. My black little silkie has wounds by her nostrils and i know it hurts her cause i ran cool water over it and dabbed at it with a napkin to clean it up. She's resting now inside what should i treat her with or should I bandage it up in some way. PLEASE HELP!

Although I have no idea how to help you I do want to let you know that I feel your pain as my baby bantam got attacked by a rat last night and is missing its entire wing. =( I hope your baby makes it. Sending positive thoughts your way!! <3

Sorry about that I'm fortunate that the Possum wasn't able to reach my chicks very well. This morning my little Midnight ( my black silkie) is drinking water and eating. Her beak is slightly crooked and I think it still hurts her but she seems to be doing fine now that she got a good nights sleep with her friend Sunshine ( My golden Polish)

Yes. Although these two guys are giving me a harder time than my big babies ever did. I have two Americaunas and a light Brahma who are grown now. I hope your little chick will pull through.
