Has anyone ever mixed a barred rock rooster with black astrolorp hens iv been debating and wandering what we will have if anyone has pictures I would like to see plz
 
You'll get black barred chicks that all look pretty much like daddy, just with messier barring especially on the cockerels. Pullets will lay about as well as each parent breed and cockerels will be decent table birds.

I agree with donrae. If you had the opposite sexes (Black Australorp roosters and Barred Rock hens) you would get Black Sex Links.
