Was told repeatedly at Farm & Home that this was a female. She should lay nice brown eggs too. I don't think this chicken will be laying eggs ever. He's a rooster. We can't have roosters in town. I was told to try a collar to keep him from crowing, but I still have another chicken who seems to also be a male and 2 roosters aren't going to work out too well with 4 hens. We got him as a day old chick. His birthday is April 8.

Lots of birds find new homes here but it helps if you provide more information such as how old he is, whether he gets along with others, where you and he live, how far you would drive to meet someone, etc. Good luck in finding him a nice home!

You really need to learn to read.

I'm sorry I can't give your boy a home, but I want to know, what is a 'cherry egger'?
That is a breed I have not come across yet.

Cherry Egger Chickens are a combination of different chicken breeds to produce an egg laying production chicken which will lay large brown eggs and one of the best chickens for backyards. They are well known for best chickens for eggs and kids.

Except he won't be laying any eggs. Oh and the Easter eggers are actually BETTER with children in MY experience. EE are very mellow and love being held. He only likes to be held once in awhile.
