Our duck laid eggs and was sitting on them quite nicely and the male didn't seem to bother the eggs. One day we came home and the male had broke or ate all the eggs. That was about a month ago and our female still hasn't laid anymore eggs. Is something wrong or is she just taking time off?
 
I reckon she is just taking a break - she may go into a molt, then rest a while longer before laying again.

How do you know it was the drake? Just wondering what the signs are.

We know it was the male because we saw him eating an egg. Also the female is currently molting...they both are actually. Thanks. I know you have helped me before and I really do mean thank you.
