Again the best place for information is the Domestic Waterfowl Association or the British Waterfowl Association. I am awaiting (with others) a new and modern standard.

I have a duckling that I purchased from Tractor Supply that fits the characteristics I am seeing in this thread. Is it possible he/she could be one of these? I purchased two ducklings (I have more grown ducks) and the one I am talking about is a giant compared to the other. They were both the same size when I purchased them, and this one is huge! He’s bigger than any “ducklings” I’ve ever had before. I have to pick him up with both hands, and he hasn’t even begun to grow his adult feathers yet. I appreciate any words of wisdom you might have for me

Could you post a picture? Very unlikely that he is a Standbridge white considering how rare they are.

You could ask what hatchery the ducks came from and then see the list of breeds available. It helps you narrow down what you have. Some hatcheries breed "jumbo" ducks, so that might be what your duckling is.

Do you live in the US? I don't think there is any hatchery in the US that sells Stanbridge White, most likely you have a Pekin.

I do. Thank you so much! We’ve had Pekin before but never one this big! Maybe he’s just a special boy
