Duck Videos Thread!

Try and drown my best friend.
I really don't know what I have going on here. We don't have males this year. But this grey one réally likes being on top and this white one activaly invites the grey one to do that. I'm wondering if one of the two might not be so interested when their drake arrives :p But which one? I'm betting on the grey one. Which would be handy since she isn't allowed to breed anyway. I'm more used to role-reversing when dealing with an all-horny-female group. But on the other hand; they grey one keeps making nests, and the white on has 0 interest ever in making nests. =/

Just girls being girls. It's only natural. They will love having a drake he will look after them along with mating them. But I believe I'd get more females.

Yeah that't the plan. We rigourlously smalled the flock and going way more proffesional now. We are getting some 200 dollars high-standard ducks from other countries this spring. But untill then these two have to do (heehee) with each other. 1 drake and 4 females is this years planning. 3 actually because the grey one is not allowed to breed..and hopefully next year two groups.

Sounds like a great plan. And the girls won’t mind it being just the two of them right now;)

But is is it a good plan to spend 200 dollars a duck :') You will see, just my luck, those 200 dollar ones get eaten by predators the first day. and 200 dollars is a tad too much in my vieuw. But I have no other options. As soon as I have them no way anyone has to pay 200 dollars per duck-offspring. No matter how many ribbons they earned. I already feel warm and confident that these beasts cost me money in one way or the other. Mainly due to us because we can't help building all kinds of stuff for them.. idk..how do you even calculate the price? Every ribbon is an extra 5 dollar? How does it work?
