Wow , a while since I updated here. I sold 16 at the auction. I have 2 new chicks hatched yesterday and today. I have added a Wheaton Marans roo, but he won't be here long as he's not friendly.
 
Sold or gave away about half my flock.
Kept 3 silkie hens, 3 frizzles, KC , Rosie, blackie, and the misc youngsters that haven't layed yet. Got a Wheaton Marans cockeral and a slightly better white silkie cockeral. KC is broody again, and silkiecuddles has just hatched 2. I have 13 2 weeks old as well.

I also have a nice looking lavander cockeral coming across from Maitland.

I have now got 3 surplus males to dispose of.
The weather is far to cold and wet over the next few weeks to be able to prep them for food, so I am considering just composting them.
 
MOved house 3 times but now back onto breeding for the season. only 1 good chick out 22 live hatched out of 25lockdown of 30 viable of 36 set.
