Has anyone else had a problem once you incorporate your hands into the flock they don't like me anymore? I bought some polish chicken and some more silkies from people that they were laying for every day I've had the Polish for three weeks with no eggs and the Silkies haven't laid either in about a week since I've had them. This is something common that it takes them a while to adjust to the flock?

That is very common for them to stop for a while. also both polish and silkies are poor layers. I have never owned one that would lay every day. You might also want to make sure you dont have an egg eater.

Egg eater? I never thought a chicken eat another chickens egg. I tried to go out there every 30 minutes when I'm home but they are alone for 7 hours at a time. But my Polish and Silkies have not laid one egg with the Polish going on 3 weeks and the Silkies about the same. I've never expected them to late everyday I just wanted some pretty chickens.

One of their favorite treats. and once an egg eater , always.. You can check their beaks and look for small pieces of shell they may have missed.

A week is not long for them to get comfortable in new surroundings, this causes stress and stress can stop laying.
Did you add them to existing birds that you already had?
Just be patient and calm, don't jump to worst case scenario conclusions just yet.

I guess I’m getting inpatient. I had a flock of 15 added 3 polish and 2 turkens then 3 weeks later add a silkie and sizzle. I’m more surprised its been 1 month now since I added the polish in and they still aren’t laying. They all were laying when I brought them home. How long should I wait till there might be a problem? 2 months?

I'd give it at least a month or so after adding the last chickens...depends on how well they integrate.

I've not added external birds to my flock in years. All additions are coming from the grow out coop and not laying yet. But back when I did add birds from other flocks it only took two weeks for new birds to be integrated and start laying.

If it's taking five weeks you may have a density problem. Too many birds for the space making for longer integration times. Did they sell you males? Or older birds? Or are there a lot of feathers laying about meaning they are molting? If I purchased a laying bird there would be an egg in the crate I moved them in or next morning then they'd take a break for few weeks while adjusting. But if laying that egg that was in their reproductive system would come.
