Not sure how many people in your area are members here, but feel free to ask questions. There are lots of knowledgeable people on here that may have the right answers for you.

Hi thanks for replying I'm just going crazy trying to figure all this out. So first thing I cant figure out is where/how to store my eggs till I get enough to incubate all I've read about that is to store them between i think it said 45-55 degrees but dk where the only thing I can think of being that cold is my fridge

Thanks for your response we have 7hens & 1 rooster but only 2hens are laying so I'm getting 2 eggs a day 1brn & 1grn. The temp in my house always fluctuates where do you think the best place would be do you by chance live in arizona

No, I live in New Mexico, right next door.

We have a small bedroom that stays the coolest - if you have a room where you could keep the door closed and the curtains shut during the day, it might be the best. Some people like to put one end of the egg carton on a book to tilt the eggs from side to side while you are waiting.

What kind of incubator do you have, and have you tested the temperature and humidity?

Ok now I've still got the eggs outside that have been laid since the 1st do you think they will be ok to bring in or should I start fresh, its a homemade still air bator i got a thermometer/hygrometer yesterday & just turned it on its sitting next to me reading room temp at 80 & humidity at 35 still have to put the light in the bator

Yea its been over 100 i just went out there to get them & got a nice surprise one of my other hens laid its first egg today i think it was one of my bantams anyways i brought them all inside now I'm even more excited about hatching them

Ok i have another question i tried looking up an answer but not getting much. So I set up my bator i made lastnight the temps seem to have leveled out at 92 for temp & 56 for humidity my question is how can I raise the temp a bit & lower humidity a bit do you know by chance.
