I'm so new to this chicken thing and this site, I have so many questions and this site is helping with most of my questions. But I'm having a hard time figuring out if she is a girl or boy? When I picked her out the lady though girl, and that's what I wanted, but now I'm not sure, my friend who has a girl who is 2 months older, mine does not look like hers with the full head of fluff. Mine only has wisps of hair. Can anyone tell me what they think? She will be 2 months on Sunday.

Hi :welcome

Glad you could join the flock! Your silkie looks like it is still feathering out. Silkies can be hard to sex often you have to wait until they crow or get an egg. You could post in the what breed gender section of the forum. Here is the link ~ https://www.backyardchickens.com/f/15/what-breed-or-gender-is-this

Wishing you the very best of luck in the future. Enjoy BYC :frow

If yours a mix or hatchery bird? It may never feather out much if it is. A full frontal (face) view would be more helpful, with the sparse feathers his/her beginning comb would show up easier.

Does this help any? She was not being very cooperative, but if you need more I can take more!!! I got her from a lady here who hatched them from her incubator .

Silkies are almost impossible to sex. You won't know for sure till they crow or lay an egg. If I had to take a guess though, I would say hen, but you won't really know till it crows or lays.
