I have White Chanteclers, Dark Cornish, Buckeyes and NakedNecks/Turkens. Amazing quantities of eggs and meat!

My Cinnamon Queen hens are prolific layers, but weren't handled as chicks. My RIR also lay well, but are stand-offish. My single Cuckoo Maran is an average layer, very friendly. She likes to perch on my leg when I sit and watch my flock free-range. My RIR too is a pushy pain. Levi, my lavender Orpington too, is just friendly as my Marans. Watch out though, I started with 4 hens and now have total of 18 birds. Good luck and happy poultry parenting.
