Hatching Eggs

The duckling didn't make it :( I should have cracked the **** egg open and helped with the hatch. I did an "eggtopsy". It turns out the membrane was too thick. The duckling was developed fully, no defects, nothing. I feel horrible, I just hope sweet baby didn't suffer. :(

Keep at it. Next time will be better. Maybe you can order some eggs offline
 
Stuff happens sometimes that we have no control over. He/she was a beautiful little black duckling. The neighbors are going to let me get more eggs from them as soon as they have some :) I bought the supplies to make a completely different incubator that's suppose to be better. I just need to find out what a wet bulb is and where I can get one. Then I should be set.
