I am just so happy for you! I saw your post and started yelling for my husband. "You're never gonna believe this!" (I've been updating him on this thread and he's just excited as I am) What an awesome surprise! Nature is amazing.

Good for happiness; bad for chicken math! We are codependent enablers when it comes to chickens! ;) Tomorrow is lockdown for my Silkie batch and next week is lockdown for my second batch of Serama. We have a row of "pretty sure they're quitters, but not ready to toss just yet" eggs. We candled last night and we found two of the "dead eggs" had movement, so I couldn't be happier. I might finally get my Seramas!
