My younger goat Song was not handled much before I got her and was not bottle fed. It has taken lots of treats and patience but she is coming around well. She is now better than my older goat about having her hooves trimmed. She loves to go on the milking stand now, all on her own, and I spend time handling her all over. She is still a bit hard to catch, but if the older goat is around I can snag her collar. I take her for walks around the property to get her used to being lead and when she gets on the stand I touch her all over to get her used to it. It took a week or so for me to be able to get near her. I think some was fear of the new surroundings, and some was just not being handled
