Howdy yall! I work at a feed store and we sell pullets/chicks year round. Sometimes folks bring us roosters. Nobody knows what this guy is but I'm thinking he's a bielefelder. Any thoughts?

I can almost guarantee he won't be a Bielefelder...someone is not going to throw money out the window like that as they command a really big price...rooster or hen.

He'll be a garden variety mix or a hatchery quality something.

I know for sure he's just hatchery quality. We just have chicks year round and we had some bielefelder chick's around a year ago. People around here buy mostly pullets and so we buy sexed birds. Sometimes a Cockrell slips through and if they end up with one they bring him back. After looking around I definitely agree with yall though. Still thinking about taking him home though, he's a very friendly bird
