You have a cockerel. The darker shade of buff on the wings is specific to males, and the darker shade feathers on his back are his male saddle feathers growing in. Those features, combined with very well developed comb and wattles at 4 months leaves no doubt. Cockerel all the way.

Dang it!! We were hoping for a Barbra Ann but looks like we have a Big John. What's crazy to me is when he sits down he looks just like a hen but oh well. Thank u soo much for your help
