We have had a lot of strays around also (mostly Tomcats). Right now we have Pi but in the past we've had Mesa, Orange Cat (such a clever name, I know), Black Cat, Mandy (she has a new home and is named Amber), and Chester.
I just couldn't help but post some more pictures. Some of you may have heard these stories.
This is Nym, the orphan we took in. He is certainly my baby-cat!
Missy, a partially stray cat that we fostered for a friend while her kittens got old enough to be weaned. She was kind of very creepy, but she was also completely sweet towards her owners. This looks like something from halloween though.
Missy's four kittens: Lynx, Joy, Smoke, and Hope
Our four cats eating together with the black tomcat "Black Cat"
Mesa, the most chill and confident stray I've ever met. We planned to keep him except he fought with our cats. I LOVE his classic tabby swirls.
Pepper, a cat that had been hit by a car that we helped to save for a friend (we were pet sitting). The poor thing had been out in the hot son. We carried him to the barn and gave him food and water and to my knowledge he got better. Pepper lived at the same place as Missy. This is the farm where people would drop off strays. Our friend had something like 30 cats at one point!
Orange Cat. He had nice, beautiful, long hair but he also fought with our cats. He nearly killed them and so we couldn't keep him. We did, however, get him neutered so he hopefully won't fight anymore.
Mandy, our only truly stray female cat. We picked her up from a parking lot where she was begging for food but she attempted to kill all our other cats in a wild fury so we gave her to our friends where she is very happy.
Black Cat showing those beautiful eyes of his. He went to a shelter along with Missy's four kittens to be adopted.
Tabby (she was too skinny because of worms) with her seven kittens learning to feed from a plate. I loved how they toddled around!
Miracle curled up in a hat looking SOOOOO cute.
Pygmy, one of the cats we lost. He was a sweet, calm soul. Much larger then his sister, mother or uncle (he took after his father). He was his mother's best friend and Tabby was her uncle's best friend. Now poor Scardy cat doesn't have a friend.
The amazing picture of Gerbil our dog, Miracle our cat and Thomas the turtle (we were pet sitting) all sharing looks of curiosity. I just love this picture.
