First Babies! ..and questions!

Today 2 of the 6 eggs our broody hen has been incubating hatched! We are so excited!

My next question is this, we have a kiddy pool in our coop for our ducks. In the past we have lost young chickens to drowning in it and I've read it's tremendously stressful to separate hens from their chicks (we were considering moving the babies to a small separate chick-coop we have until learning this). Any suggestions on making the pool safe or should we just remove it until they have grown? Or can you actually separate hens from chicks?

Also, the remaining eggs were not laid at the same time as these little babies were, will she continue to incubate them?
Many thanks!

Separating the chicks from there mother is pretty stressful but people do it. I would keep it as a last resort, when the baby's first hatch the hen doesn't leave the nest for at least another day ( or so iv experienced) so I would say you should leave the eggs.
