duck fighting

Ok, I know ducks on hens is bad, I've never had that problem. What about rooster on duck? My roo keeps mounting my scovy

That shouldn't be a problem, the rooster's "parts" will not hurt the Muscovy like a male duck's will hurt a hen. If you know what I mean? I guess the only danger with a rooster and a duck is if it was pecking or clawing the duck to the point of injuring her while mating.

Thankyou so much! I was quite worried because he puts an awful lot of effort into 'Connecting' and she LETS him! Lifts her tail an all! But she will not let a drake on her...he's not overly brutal, just gives her neck feathers a bit of a tug. I think drakes are worse.

So good news. The second "male" has just started quacking. I guess a late bloomer at 8 weeks. but shes definitely quacking.
