Help please! Mother abandoned her baby.

I can see I'm going to have to get tough during this learning curve of a journey!

I just thought it would be mean to deny her the chance to become a Mum. I got her last year as a 16 week old and this is the first time she has gone broody. I've really enjoyed it although the babies are growing so fast!!

Good idea about the photo, thank you again Miss Lydia, you are so generous with your time and advice!

Be sure to share pics with us too before they go to their new home..
I love having babies around but they really do grow fast and before you know it they are ready to brood and then ... it just keeps going. I have 4 female Muscovy's that may never be mamas.

I uploaded lots of photos last week - did I post them in the wrong place?!
You put them under your avatar. I found them.. so pretty . What I mean was be sure to show babies right before they leave for new home they change so much. Great pics of them by the way.

Hope this is viewable now - this is them in the garden at the weekend but they seem to have had a mega growth spurt since then!

I'll take another photo today and upload!

Just an update as it's been a while! The duckling are now nearly 6 weeks old, 4 have gone to their new home and I've been to see them and they settled very well and have a lovely home.

I've kept two, the one I rescued which is on the right hand side of this photo - I can't believe how quickly ducklings grow!

I'm having trouble with the drake (their Father) chasing them and so am posting on a new thread for any advice on this.
