Please help. I had 22 keets from 2 broody hens, they are about 3 weeks old now. I sold all the keets and brought 4 inside my home and stuck them in a brooder so I could handle them and make them friendlier. Anyway the last 5 keets are still inside the coop with their 2 mamas, and the last buyer asked if I could keep them until they are fully feathered. That's fine but the ones in the brooder NEED to be put back into the coop. Will the mamas reject them if I put them back? I can put the heat lamp out there if I need to. I can even separate the mamas from all the keets and stick the heat lamp out there. Whats best?

The longer you have had them in the house the more likely the hens will reject them. It is simple enough to find out; put one with the hens and watch. You will know quickly enough if they will be accepted or not. At the first sign of aggression remove the keet. It that fails decide what works best for you.

I would sneak the keets under Momma's wings at night when she's sleeping. I've done it before and it works.
