Hi guys,
So I have a rooster he is full grown. I would say he's a year old. I used to have 6 month old hens he used to try to mate with. I don't have those hens anymore. I now have 11 week old chicks that are in the coop with him. He does show behaviors towards them kinda like he's showing them he's the dominate one. I was just wondering if he knows that they are still babies? Because he does know that he can't mate with something that small right? And will he know when they are really ready to be mated with? And what age is that for a hen to have fertile eggs?
Thanks guys! Hope I posted in the right place!
