I rescued some baby warrens last Saturday and started treating them for red mites and I haven't bathed them yet (because of thier mucky feathers) due to them having a little cold which I'm in the process of ordering the apple cider vinegar stuff however I noticed 1 looks very ill, her eyes are basically swollen shut with like a clear discharge, she also has a biggish lump between her eye and beak either side, can anyone give me advice as unfortunately I cannot afford the vets at the moment

however in extremely worried and scared for this little beauty I really care about her and need as much advice as possible please

Hi :welcome

Glad you could join the flock! Sorry to hear you have a poorly chick :hugs It looks like she could have some kind of respiratory infection. Ideally you could do with putting her on some antibiotics to see if it will clear her up. Here is the section for various infections ~ https://www.backyardchickens.com/a/chicken-injuries-diseases-how-to-diagnose-treat-your-chickens
Keep her some where well ventilated and clean and you could give her some extra vitamins, something you can put in her water or or able to administer to her yourself. Scrambled or boiled chopped egg is also good for when they are under the weather, they are full of vitamins and all the things they need.

You can also post in the emergencies injuries disease cure section ~ https://www.backyardchickens.com/f/10/emergencies-diseases-injuries-and-cures

Wishing you the very best of luck, I hope she is well soon :fl

You could try Denaguard or Duramycin. It may take time for them to start working and I would treat all the chicks that have. Been. With your sick one. These type of things tend to go through them all.

Vitamins I would use some thing like the rooster booster or poultry vitamin supplement.

Yorkshire Coop has given you very good advice, so I will just say Welcome to Backyard Chickens. Hope you will update so we know how she is doing.

Hi sadly my little chick(peanut) is even worse this morning as she won't eat, drink or open her eyes an I have wiped them a few times with tissues and lukewarm water but it has made no difference she also has sort a blue colour above her eyes, should I feed her via syringe so she still gets food? & where can I get the syringes & antibiotics from in Derby as can't find them anywhere

Yes hand feed and water her as much as you can. You will need to order the duramycin from the Internet.
Are you in the UK? If so you will need to or see the vet for antibiotics.
There is some for sale through a third party in Amazon, here is the link ~ http://www.amazon.co.uk/Durvet-Dura...UTF8&qid=1441025572&sr=8-1&keywords=Duramycin

You should be able to get the vitamins from a local feed shop or even a lot of equestrian places sell chicken supplements as well.
