If someone with a gun breaks in trying to rob you, I want them to be discussing your chickens and sipping coffee 15 minutes after they see your egg holder.

Like the fish-tank from old blender, it annoys your mind until you can't think of something else.

now I want to go make some woodwork because of your post !!

Oddly enough, I think most people who know me would tell you it is entirely possible that someone could break into my house and we would end up in the kitchen with me making them eggs and talking about their life choices hahaha!!

I would be delighted if you did! I' still using mine and the best part of it is that it's so low profile on the counter. It sits right against the wall, so it isn't taking up much room at all. I'm really glad I went this route instead of a basket!

Counter space is precious around here! Those egg skelters are fun to look at but I just don't have room.

Really?! I was just thinking what a great way they are to SAVE counterspace. I am overflowing with cartons sometimes....

Blessed wife, mama to three people-kids, plus 2 horses, 3 goats + 2 new kids!, a turtle, a dog, a whole pack of cats, and dozens of feather-babies!

Did you mean my comment? I meant egg skelters take up space and that this was a good alternative. smile.png

Egg skelters end up taking a good portion of counter, I think. But i'm not sure, never seen one in person! I just can't justify the money for one!

Really good looking egg holder. The rustic look and lettering are great. Nice job.
