Were these laid by the same hen?

Thank you!

I now have 14 eggs total. Dixie (BA) has laid daily for 6 days now. Tot laid her first egg, took a few days break and then laid daily for awhile. She didn't lay yesterday, but laid today. Daisy (splash marans) laid one dark egg 3 days ago. Nothing since. Pepper (EE) just started yesterday and has laid 2 blue eggs since then.

Great! Keep us updated :)

Here's a update! Since my girls have started laying, I've collected 2 3/4 cartons of eggs. I have 5 currently laying (not including the two neighbor hens who have decided that they live here now - yay!) Tot was my first layer. Daisy & Dixie started around the same time. Pepper began shortly after that and April just began laying today. Here's a few photos.

^ Found one of Pepper's eggs cracked in the nest box today. It would have been 5 eggs! Any clue how it cracked? Stepped on? Pecked at? The shells have always been pretty strong and that isn't Pepper's first egg.

The egg in the middle is a store bough cage-free egg for size comparison. I think the one directly above it (similar in color) is one of the neighbor's chicken's eggs. It was laid by the run door, which is where they wait until I get home from school to open it. They are neglected by their owner and as soon as I open the run door they run inside and eat the layer pellets. Poor girls. That's why I'm so happy they are starting to sleep in my coop. It's not stealing if they go in there on their own

. Anyways, those two are a few weeks older than my pullets and started laying before mine so because of the egg size and color, I think it's theirs. What do you think? They are red stars I believe.

My 2 full carton (missing one egg).

Also, Dixie has laid every day for almost TEN DAYS STRAIGHT. She missed one day, but I can tell she is going to be one of my best layers. Dixie is a blue andalusian.

Large Fowl - there are two types of hens. Large Fowl and Bantams, every breed fits into one of the two (although some have bred certain breeds to have an LF and bantam variety). Orpingtons and Sex links are examples of Large Fowl and Appenzeller Spitzhaubens and Cochins are examples of Bantams.

Oh gotcha. Are blue andalusians bantams? I've seen them labeled as both large fowl and bantam but my girl is quite small. I got her off of MPC.
