Question: Chick finished hatching, egg sack completely absorbed, still in a ball formation, isn't moving besides flailing its wings sometimes, eyes haven't opened once, chirping up a storm! and breathing really well.

Every once in awhile I take it out and rub it and move its leg a bit. Almost like stimulating a pup after its born sometimes... ya know?

Anyway... anything I can do/should do?

Hatching Egg Emergency!
Short story for the question... long story below...
We have an egg that was 3 days over do. It was rocking, jerking, completely alive. Well today it wasn’t. Worried we candled it. It was internally pipped. But no movement or anything, just a tiny I saw. We went to immediately working. These eggs were brought in from a hen who was 4 days away from hatch and had problems (below). Once I got a hole in the egg the chick was COMPLETELY shrink wrapped besides its tiny whole it made and gasping motions. I started dripping warm water in and it started to slowly move again. I got half the egg off, a lot of the membrane off. Now wrapped it in a wet towel and put it back in the bator. It’s breathing. Should I give it time and see if it pops out or should I finish it and wrap it and place it in the bator again?
(edited to add long story) Long story while I wait for responses... My silkie loves hatching eggs I usually never let her though or we'd have a million babies. I finally let her go again on a good group of eggs because she was in the coop with our handicap hen - they are best buddies and always cuddling. Well half way through the hatch the handicap hen likes to snuggle too much and kept knocking my silkie off her eggs and in the long run kept cracking them open and it was killing the chicks. So I finally stopped that but then my silkie kept kicking eggs out from under her because of the other hen squashing her out of her place. I finally decided 4 days if any of the eggs left had a chance I needed to take them. So I did. All but 2 were gone, late deaths, sad. The other are in the incubator. I believe the other is dead and this is the only one alive... and praying it will make it.

Ok. I was hoping wrapping it and leaving it with the rest of the egg it will build energy again since it can now breathe... because this little chick has no struggle left you can certainly tell that.

Usually when you candle you see the big open clear air sell and when they have pipped you see their beak now in that air cell. This one had a beak and a little foot through it.

Thanks all. I have wrapped it in the wet paper towel, half the egg gone, watered it down a bit. Put it back in the bator, It's breathing good but not talking at all. Will let it be over night.

Things are going well, went to check on the chick and drip some more water on the paper towel and it is breathing really well now, moving again (kicking) and chirping super loud when I make noises. Yay! Hoping it will pull through and kick that membrane off. I did remove most of the rest of the egg, half the membrane is removed, just the bottom half now.

Good luck, it sounds like you have it under control.

I ended up feeding it electrolytes every hour and a drop of egg yolk every hour too. She's finally doing wonderful.

Though her head is weirdly shaped...
