Sizes of Hens versus Roosters

I have a 3 1/2 month old silver lace to which still trying to find, through this group, her/his gender. But, as looking over pictures on line it seems the hens are puffier than the roosters. Is this so?

And does a rooster always have the white patch on the side of his neck?

Roosters have a white patch on the wing. The comb will also be large (3 x of a pullet) and flat. Pullets do have a rounder fluffy less upright shape than the boys. Post a picture.
