hello all, I've had chickens for about 5 years and sadly we lost our last chicken about 4 weeks ago, so last weekend we got 5 six week old Pekin bantams but the coop I've built is huge so we wanted to go and get some more, will it be ok to add the new girls or is it to late? Any advice would be brilliant. Thanks.

so glad you have joined us.

If you are planning to get more of the same age bantams from the same source, you may be able to place together and watch closely if you don't wait long. Likely the others have not assumed ownership of the place yet.

But be prepared to separate them if needed to introduce them.
