Injured RIR??? Please help

I'm not sure if this is normal or not, but today I got a new chicken (I ordered it from Mcmurray and they said it was a hen, but it looks like it's a roo) and it looks like it's back feathers are seriously messed up. What do you guys think! What should I do!

It just came today, so I'm guessing that it was just because of the shipping but it's tail feathers are sticking up and it just looks messy in it's rear
It looks like it very well could be a cockerel from the prominent tail feathers. If there are droppings around the vent, I would clean the vent area with soap and water, and dry well. Try some probiotics in the water or a little buttermilk or plain yogurt for some.
