Hi everyone, Ive just joined BYC as im having a go at breeding my 1st lot of Pekin Chickens from my own hens and Porcelain Rooster.

Im hoping to pick up some tips and sharing photos with you all.

Would love to know if there are any other 'learners' out there?.

Oooh, how exciting for you .. are you hatching under a broody or in an incubator?

I love Pekins, I have 3, 2 of which have had hatches of their own.

Hi Bambrook Bantams, Ive got 2 dozen mixed Pure Pekins in my inci currently on day 19 !..
and ive got 6 pekin eggs under 2 of my broodys.

Im needing to make a bigger brooder!!.
I also have some chicks that are now 2 and 3 wks old.
and a few Frizzles.
Are you in Brisbane too ??.
Im in Burpengary.

I only have a small flock of 6; no roosters, as we are residential but as mentioned, 3 Pekins one of which is Frizzle, 1 Bantam Langshan and 2 x Silkie X’s one of which is Frizzle.

For some reason I am having trouble viewing images in posts today so I cannot see your latest post with the picture

Not far at all!.
I have 3 roosters.
A Porcelain rooster [i adore].
A Millefluer Rooster [Who im thinking of selling]
And a bitza Pekin roo. [carries loads of Lavender and seemingly Creole.

Ill try to load more pics im trying to work it all out.
