I'm still new to the chicken world. I am not sure the gender of the brownish one. It is almost 5 months old. I haven't heard it crow.

You may be new to chickens, and believe me, some chickens stump the experts... but the brown one is a rooster. The other rooster is probably dominant and the one you are asking about probably doesn't want to tell him that he is indeed a he as well.

It's a rooster.

Is there any hope of 3 roosters living in harmony? I am a teacher and had these in an incubator. I was hoping I'd have at least 1 hen. I know the answer is probably no and I'll have to rehome them. :(

Both dark chickens are cockerels/roosters.

I agree. Sorry.(

It's always possible, but extremely unlikely. As they mature and their hormones kick in, you will likely have fights. Personally, I would keep my favorite of the three, and get some hens to go with him.

If those three boys are all the chickens you have, they may well do well together. It's one of those things where you'll simply have to try it and see, and have a contingency plan if things go south. Kinda like life itself

I just have them and a duck. They have pretty much been together since birth. I'm hopeful but if they start to fight I'll definitely go to plan b. Thank you for the little glimmer of hope.
