Can anyone give me any info on this turkey pls and thanks!
How old, I'm thinking broad breasted Tom. The snood is small, but the head is bald.

Sorry I meant to put the age, 5 and a half months. So do you still think tom?
Well can't be definite until that snood goes down, but my hens never bald that much, just the toms.

Turns out she is a female, we found her on a nest of 5 eggs.
Good to know, she sure looked like a Tom, she looks very nice and dedicated, are you going to let her set?

We are trying not to as she is the only turkey we have so they will not hatch any chicks. But we will be gone for a week at the hospital so I don't know what will happen if we don't get her broke by then.
With my hens I just keep removing the eggs, for persistent broodies I put something in the spot they are laying like a log so they can't sit there, sometimes they break and sometimes they move somewhere else.

Great advise! Thanks so much, I am going to go out now and try the log. We leave early in the morning so I am not sure when I will know if it worked or not, but I like the idea! Thanks again.
