Hi all!
This is my chicken , I got him last March from a local farmer:
I pored over the forums for weeks trying to learn all about easter egger sexing, and I kept bugging my poor fella (pictured above) looking for different colored feathers on his back, shoulders, and neck but I'm not sure if you'd consider these feathers 'orange''. They're like a muddy light brown. But! The tail is also different from my other easter egger, Banana, who has already started laying eggs.
I really really think he's a rooster but I'm doubting it.
First, because I'm biased and am really hoping for a rooster. Also because one of my older hens hatched a very precocious baby roo who's only two months old and the ridiculous thing is already crowing and trying to mate with the girls. Can anyone tell if this one is or isn't a roo?
